Benahavís: A Hub of Gastronomy, Social Engagement, and Childhood Education

Benahavís once again solidifies its reputation as a center of fine cuisine with heart, thanks to ChefsForChildren. This event brings together culinary expertise, social responsibility, and educational opportunities for young children. In its eighth year, over 60 Michelin-starred chefs gather in Benahavís to share their knowledge and values with children, promoting healthy eating habits with the motto ‘Eating Healthy is Fun’. Students from CEIP Daidín, Atalaya International School, and families from FEDER participated in practical workshops where they learned to cook in an entertaining manner. The event concludes with a charitable gala that unites professionals, organizations, and supporters. This year, the focus is on raising awareness for rare diseases, collaborating with the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases to provide support to families and educate society. Through initiatives like this, Benahavís strengthens its identity as a premier gastronomic destination and showcases how cooking can be a tool for positive change, education, and solidarity. The commitment to impactful initiatives continues to shape a brighter future for the community.
