Benahavís to Host Opening Round of 2025 TrialGP World Championship

Benahavís has been selected as the venue for the opening round of the 2025 TrialGP World Championship, set to take place from April 4th to 6th. This renowned event will bring together more than 80 riders, including the 36-time world champion Toni Bou, solidifying Benahavís as a global hub for trial biking. The town’s Mayor, José Antonio Mena, expressed pride in hosting such a prestigious competition, highlighting its importance for the municipality. The Sports Councillor, Ignacio López, emphasized the positive economic impact and the opportunity to showcase Benahavís as a top destination for sports and tourism. The competition will be organised by the Benahavís Motorcycling Sports Club, with support from various federations and the local council. The course will feature 12 competition zones accessible by foot, offering spectators an exciting sports spectacle. With a longstanding history in trial biking since the 1970s, Benahavís continues its legacy as a host of major events, welcoming riders, teams, and fans for an unforgettable weekend.
