Celebrating Culinary Diversity: International Cooking Classes with Seniors
This week, students at the Catering School had the unique opportunity to participate in international cooking classes led by seniors. These seniors shared traditional recipes steeped in history, memory, and affection. From Italian tiramisu to Algerian couscous, and from Argentine humita to Ukrainian borsch, the culinary journey was filled with cultural delights. Our seniors, hailing from various parts of the world, not only connected with their roots but also passed on their culinary love to the next generation of chefs. Benahavís, long known for its culinary excellence, is further enriched by the flavors, traditions, and cultures shared by these culinary guardians.
