Exploring Viking History in Benahavís: A Talk Series Event

The Culture Department of Benahavís Town Hall, in partnership with Esther Ráez, is hosting the 2025 Talk Series – Stories about Benahavís. The upcoming talk, ‘Vikings in Al Andalus: The Normanni Discover the South,’ will be presented by Manuel Parodi, a historian, archaeologist, and cultural disseminator. The event will take place at the Salón de Actos, Benahavís Town Hall, on September 30th at 5:30 PM. Attendees will learn about the intriguing history of Viking expeditions in the Iberian Peninsula and their impact on Al Andalus. Admission is free and open to all until full capacity is reached.
