New Car Park Project Approved for Monte Halcones Urbanisation

Last Thursday, the local council approved the project for the ‘Construction of Car Parks in the Monte Halcones Urbanisation’ during the Local Government Board meeting. Following the recent construction of the GREA building, a municipal plot measuring 1,514.75 m², currently consisting of bare earth, has been left available. This area is currently used as a car park for the commercial zone within the Monte Halcones urbanisation, but it lacks urban infrastructure such as a stormwater drainage system and street lighting. Access to the site is via the same road that was built to reach the GREA. The works will provide 47 parking spaces, each measuring 5.00 x 2.50 metres, including three spaces designated for people with reduced mobility. The plan also includes the construction of a one-way access road, with angled parking on both sides. The entire surface will be paved and fitted with urban services, including stormwater drainage and public lighting. The tender budget is set at €434,230.64, VAT included.
