BENAHAVÍS APUESTA POR LOS JÓVENES TALENTOS DE LA COCINA EN SU ESCUELA DE HOSTELERÍA
Ayer se ha celebró en la Escuela de Hostelería de Benahavís la semifinal andaluza de los MGA Gastronomic Awards 2026, un evento que ha reunido a jóvenes estudiantes de cocina y sala de toda Andalucía.
Durante toda la jornada, los participantes han demostrado su talento preparando platos y realizando pruebas prácticas ante un jurado profesional, en un ambiente de esfuerzo, aprendizaje y mucha ilusión.
El Ayuntamiento de Benahavís ha apoyado activamente este evento, colaborando en su organización y apostando por iniciativas que impulsan la formación de nuestros jóvenes y les abren nuevas oportunidades en el sector de la hostelería.
Gracias a este tipo de actividades, nuestro municipio no solo apoya a los estudiantes, sino que también se da a conocer como un referente en gastronomía y turismo en Andalucía. Benahavís backs young culinary talent at its Hospitality School
Yesterday, the Andalusian semi-final of the MGA Gastronomic Awards 2026 took place at the Benahavís Hospitality School, bringing together young kitchen and front-of-house students from across Andalusia.
Throughout the day, participants showcased their talent by preparing dishes and completing practical tests in front of a professional jury, in an atmosphere of hard work, learning and great enthusiasm.
Benahavís Town Council actively supported the event, collaborating in its organisation and backing initiatives that promote the training of our young people and open up new opportunities for them in the hospitality sector.
Thanks to activities like this, our municipality not only supports students but also establishes itself as a benchmark for gastronomy and tourism in Andalusia. In addition, these awards aim to foster young talent and facilitate access to employment, which is essential for the future of the sector.
